Information for Referring Providers

At Virginia Concussion and Pain Physical Therapy, we specialize in the evaluation and treatment of patients with persistent pain, post-concussion symptoms, autonomic dysfunction (e.g., POTS), hypermobility disorders, and vestibular conditions. Our goal is to support your patients with evidence-based, compassionate care while maintaining clear communication and collaboration throughout their course of treatment.

Our Areas of Specialty

We provide targeted rehabilitation for patients with:

Post-concussion syndrome
Persistent neck pain, jaw pain (TMJ), and headaches
Vestibular dysfunction, including BPPV
Autonomic disorders such as POTS
Hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS)
Chronic musculoskeletal pain
We treat adults and children ages 10 and older, using a whole-person, neuroscience-informed approach that integrates education, graded activity, manual therapy, and nervous system regulation.

We welcome referrals from:

  • Physicians and nurse practitioners
  • Neurologists, ENTs, and pain specialists
  • Dentists and orthodontists (for TMJ-related care)
  • Case managers and worker’s comp adjusters

We’re Here to Support You

We understand the challenges of managing patients with complex symptoms. 

We regularly work with both local patients and those traveling from out of town, especially for specialized care in concussion, persistent pain, autonomic dysfunction, and hypermobility. We are happy to coordinate short-term, intensive care plans when needed.
