Big News: Virginia Concussion and Pain Physical Therapy Is Coming in January 2026!

I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates as we prepare to officially open Virginia Concussion and Pain Physical Therapy in January 2026. This new clinic is the start of something I’ve dreamed about for years, and I can’t wait to bring specialized care in concussion and pain recovery to the Richmond community.

Our Website Is Live

We’ve just launched our brand-new website! It will grow into a resource hub where you’ll find updates, educational content, and helpful tools as we get closer to opening day.

And since you’re here, welcome to our very first blog post update about our progress! Thank you for being an early supporter and following along from the very beginning.

Upcoming Conferences

I’m also excited to share that I’ll be collaborating with Dr. Theis, neuro-optometrist and founder of Virginia Neuro-Optometry, at two upcoming workers’ compensation conferences this fall.

We’ll be presenting on Visual Work Hardening and hosting a table at the Ford-Richardson event and presenting at the Virginia Workers' Compensation Conference. If you’ll be attending, please stop by, we’d love to meet you!

Finding Our New Home

Behind the scenes, we’re exploring clinic spaces in the Richmond area. Both Dr. Theis and I will be relocating from our current office, and we’re excited to continue sharing space together in the West End of Richmond. More details will be coming soon as plans are finalized.

Thank You

Your encouragement and support during this journey mean so much. Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing updates on our progress, plus resources and insights to help you (or someone you care about) better understand recovery from concussion and pain.

Stay tuned

and thank you for being part of this next chapter!

Warmly,
Dr. Sara Etheredge, PT, DPT
